12 NOON:  ETA @ Albany Park's Bikes N' Roses, 4747 N. Sawyer -- FREE BIKE VALET

  • 1124 W. ARGYLE WEST (300 FT) TO BROADWAY

  • Broadway SOUTH / LEFT (0.3 mi) to Lawrence

  • Lawrence WEST / RIGHT (2.5 mi) to Sawyer

  • Sawyer SOUTH / LEFT (120 ft) to 4747 N. Sawyer

  • LEISURELY GROUP PACE:  10 MPH

  • TOTAL DISTANCE:  APPROXIMATELY 2.9 MI

  • RIDE TIME:  APPROXIMATELY 30 MIN

NEED TO FUEL UP BEFORE THE RIDE?  We suggest you visit Chiu Quon Bakery across the street for some breakfast treats or grab some Vietnamese Iced Coffee at Miss Saigon, then bring it to the Uptown Bikes Pop Up Shop and hang out! Or check out the Argyle Shared Streetscape, nearing completion in early September 2016.

Proceeds from the event benefit Albany Park Neighbors, a grassroots community group that brings together residents, officials and other organizations to tackle issues affecting those who live in immediate neighborhood.

Albany Park, the eclectic Chicago neighborhood on the city's northwest side, is celebrating its ethnic diversity at the THIRD ANNUAL ALBANY PARK WORLD FEST at LAWRENCE & KIMBALL (3400 W, the terminus of the CTA's Brown Line). 

FREE BIKE VALET:
  Bikes N’ Roses is a non-profit bike shop dedicated to Chicago’s youth. BNR programming aims to offer youth a productive outlet while comprehensively introducing them to workforce readiness skills needed to succeed. 

ORGANIZERS:
The Lawrence Jaunt is a series of bike rides connecting the culturally rich communities of Uptown and Albany Park. These events are made possible through a partnership between North River Commission, Albany Park Chamber of Commerce, Uptown United, Business Partners – The Chamber for Uptown, Uptown Bikes, and Bikes N' Roses.
